FORT

We built a fort today. :)) Evy insisted that Jack be in the fort with her. It's so wonderful that she already sees Jack as a playmate. When she is playing outside, she'll come in the house and show him everything that she found. "Jackie, rock!" "Jackie, ball!" It's the cutest thing EVER! Just a few more months and he'll be playing out there with her. I am so thankful that they are so close in age.

I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT YOU WITHOUT A DOPE BEAT TO STEP TO

Hey! It's been a long time. Hope you guys are having a fabulous week. Mine has been pretty great. I deleted my Facebook. It was taking up too much of my time and was becoming the idol in my life. I decided it was time to start living life instead of reading about other people's lives on Facebook. It's also time to spend more  of it with Jesus. I feel refreshed already in just these few days...and I don't even miss it.

Somethings I've been doing instead of being on Facebook...

So much fun!

Oh, and Evy has been enjoying reading the bible a lot lately...

Isn't she the bessssssst?!?!?!?!?

The B-I-B-L-E

After the kids are bathed and dressed, teeth are brushed and hair is combed, our little family all cuddle on mommy and daddy's bed and read the "baba" (as Evy Rose would say it) or Bible. Then we pray and Evy continuously says "MEN" (Amen) throughout the whole prayer, she then goes around giving each one of us kisses, then says "nigh nigh." This has got to be my favorite time of the day. Evy seems to enjoy it as well. :)

Today was pretty much a relax day. Did a few loads of laundry, marinated some chicken, watched Fringe with the hus while the kids napped, made some blueberry muffins, did a little swimming, ate some chicken, took a walk, clipped some coupons and ate some blueberry muffins. It was a lovely day. A little too hot and windy for my taste, but being able to cool off at the pool is always a plus. Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring.

Mr. Golden Sun

So, I fell today. And people saw me. People I don't know. It was quite embarrassing. Luckily I wasn't carrying any of the kids, but I did bang up my knee pretty bad. The toes will also need repainting as they got scraped off from the fall. I was attempting to wear heels which I haven't done since becoming a mom, and boom goes the dynamite. Guess I have to retrain my feet and legs how to walk in heels. I'm expecting a few more falls before I get it down. :-)

I loved today! Even though I fell, it was a pretty fantastic day. The sun was shining, the kids were smiling, the husband was sweet. What more could I have asked for? God has really blessed us with everything we could ever need...and then some. I hope I never forget the promises of God.

Well, I hope your day was filled with lots of sunshine and many smiles.

If You're Happy And You Know It

My super duper mega hot husband, A.K.A. Mr. Moreno, has decided to record his music over the summer. I'm super duper mega excited about this! Mr. Moreno has been wanting to record for some time now but we financially could not afford it...until now. God has a way of doing everything in His time, and when He said "it's time," everything just fell into place.

Isn't he cute. :)
(These pictures are old but it was all I had)

Please be praying for us as we continue to move forward with the project. We are hoping to have it completed and ready for the masses to hear by September. So keep your ears open!

Hope you day is wonderific!

Up Came the Sun

It has been a crazy week. This week has included lots of swimming, eating at our favorite vietnamese restaurant, many trips to the mall (Evy loves the play area), visits with many aunts, uncles and cousins, iced soy chai teas, thirft shopping, shoe shopping, costco trips, listening to sermons by Paul Washer. Busy busy busy. It's been a little exhausting but super fun! I looooove having the hus home. Makes things a lot easier for this mama. I'm doing half the work I normally do so it's like a vacation. Every husband should be a teacher. :)

Didn't end up taking a lot of pics this week. I just feel a little ridiculous carrying a humongous camera around. I know...it's not an excuse. I'll get better. I promise.

Here are just a few from tuesday.

There will probably be lots of swimming pictures in the next couple weeks since we will be doing A LOT of it.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!!

P.S. Been extremely challenged by this sermon. Hope you take the time to listen

Summer Lovin'

Finding time to blog with two kids who are only 11 months apart with the oldest only being 14 months old is a little bit hard. So, I may not be keeping up with this as much as I'd like, but I'm really gonna try. Really, I am. Promise.

My husband is a teacher and is out of school for the summer. This is our first summer where we are both not working and I am soooo excited about it. We will get to eat many breakfasts together at our favorite restaurant, A Great Location.

Evy just loves drinking all the half and half packets.

Our summer is also gonna consist of A LOT of this...

Jumping Right In

So, I never know how to start one of these things so I'm just going to jump right in like I've been blogging for years.

I have the best husbandy in the world and I have the best kids in the world. Just look at that face.

This will be short and sweet as I got to get ready for some swim time with the kiddos. More to come later.

I'll leave you with this...

When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You made him ruler over the works of your hands;
you put everything under his feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the beasts of the field,
the birds of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Psalm 8:3-9
